Jean Mackenzie

Jean Mackenzie is the wife of the late Paul Koster. She has kept his spirit alive by founding the Paul Koster Memorial Benefit and by working to support its mission. Jean is a very active participant in the local Southampton community and is now the owner of both Clamman Seafood and Seasons of Southampton Caterer. She continues to live in the beautiful home that she and Paul created, where their children Mackenzie, Roxanne and Cutter were raised, and enjoys spending time with her grandson Otto and extended group of family and friends.

Katelyn Brady Stukas

Katelyn is a former teacher in the Southampton area. She met the Koster family 15 years ago and became very fond of them all. She is happy to be able to call them her family. Although she never met Paul, she notes that she continues to be “in awe of what was clearly his very giving spirit for the local community.” Through her work on the PKMB Board, she hopes to be able to continue his mission. Katelyn lives in Southampton with her husband and son.

Tish Rehill

Tish met Paul and Jeannie through a mutual friend over 40 years ago, shortly after moving to the East End. She says, “Everyone was drawn to Paul’s larger than life personality, his giving nature, varied interests and, of course, his smile.” Tish has been involved in the community for many years; serving as PTA President for six years, as Southampton History Museum Board of Trustee for four years, and as Co-President for two years. She has supported the PKMB’s mission through the years and was honored when asked to join the Board.

Paton Miller

After leaving his home in Hawaii to journey through Asia in 1974, Paton Miller arrived on the East End with a collection of travel inspired artworks that won him an art scholarship from Southampton College. Today, his work is exhibited internationally and is widely collected, especially in the East End and New York City region. Paton met Paul Koster more than 35 years ago and because of their friendship, Paton became one of the founding members of the Paul Koster Memorial Benefit.

Ralph Dratch

For more than 40 years Ralph has provided business consulting services to major corporations and local startups in the construction and manufacturing sectors, including: GE, Ford Motor Co., Kraft Foods, Department of Defense, U.S. Bureau of Mines, B&W Construction, and Signature Signs. Married with two sons, both of whom are Southampton High School graduates, Ralph has been friends and neighbors with the Koster family for over three decades.

Karen Bieniewicz

Karen was born and raised in Southampton. She is married to Ron Bieniewicz, an RN at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and they have two sons; Joseph and Jeffrey. She first met Paul Koster and his family when her son Jeff played soccer on the same team as Paul's son Cutter. Karen fondly remembers Paul attending every soccer game and enthusiastically cheering on the team.

Matthew Magee

Born and raised in Southampton, Matt grew up with the Koster family and knew Paul Koster very well. “Paul had an energy and a larger than life personality that people were drawn to. He was a great businessman, family man, and friend who was always willing to lend a hand at any time,” he says. Matt is proud to be a PKMB board member, to help ensure that Paul’s memory is honored by awarding scholarships to those with the same characteristics that made Paul so special. Matt manages operations for J&M Long Island, Inc. He enjoys outdoor activities, is an avid snowboarder and garden enthusiast, and remains best friends with Paul’s son Cutter Koster.
